Robert Gallon

Robert Gallon was a landscape painter who lived in London. He travelled extensively throughout the British Isles to paint his subjects, which included recognised views of England, Scotland and Wales.Gallon's paintings can vary greatly in style, ranging from broad, loose brush strokes to extremely delicately textures. Gallon painted in a realistic style similar to that of BW Leader and Vicat Cole.Gallon actively exhibited during the years 1868 - 1903 at the principal London Galleries, particularly the Royal Academy and the Royal Society of British Artists.
