Biography
Wilson Hepple was a Northumbrian painter of animals, sporting scenes and genre subjects. Today he is perhaps best known for his depictions of kittens at play. He lived and worked in Acklington near Amble for most of his life.

Hepple was a founder member of the Bewick Club in Newcastle and regularly exhibited there.  He is represented in several public collections including the Laing Art Gallery in Newcastle.
