Biography

Spanish Artist Antonio Maria de Reyna was born in Malaga in 1859. He was a student of the Malaga School of Fine Art.

Time spent in Rome and especially Venice proved to be a great source of inspiration to Reyna. He painted many views of the Grand Canal and the basilica San Marco as well as other prominent Venetian sights.

Highlights of his exhibited works include with the National Society of Fine Art, Paris in 1887 and l' Exposition Universalle in Rome 1911. Reyna's paintings can be seen today in the Malaga Museum.
