Eugene Henri Cauchois

1850 - 1911

Eugene Henri Cauchois was born in Rouen on the 14th February 1850 and died in Paris 11th October 1911.
He studied under Duboc and Cabanel. He first exhibited at the Paris Salon in 1874 and then at the Society of French Artists in 1990. In 1898 he obtained a third class medal, a bronze medal in 1900 and a second class medal 1904.
In his final years he concentrated on painting still life subjects, in particular seasonal flowers.
Exhibited: Paris Salon; Society of French Artists Museums: Louviers, Aux Halles, Perpignan and Rouen
